Naturpark Ötztal – Mountains at your fingertips
The government of Tyrol designates the name “Naturpark” (Nature Park) to areas with extraordinary natural beauty that are particularily suited for recreation and study.
resently there are 5 Nature Parks in Tyrol: Ötztal Nature Park, Kaunergrat Nature Park, Zillertal Alps Nature Park, Tiroler Lech Nature Park, “Alpenpark” Karwendel. The association Ötztal Nature Park is entrusted with the management of the Nature Park.
