The management of Ötztal Nature Park lies within the responsibility of the association carrying the same name, which is seated in Obergurgl

Members of the board include the Municipality of Sölden, the Austrian Department of Forestry, the Ötztal board of tourism with Obergurgl/Hochgurgl and Sölden/Vent, the Austrian Alpine Club Sektion Innerötztal as well as the State of Tyrol – Department of Environmental Conservation. At the moment, the management of the association as well as the Nature Park is in the hands of one fulltime employee. The association was founded in 2003 and the management of Ötztal Nature Park has been active since April 2005.
