From Lochlealm the "Jägernotsteig" trail leads to Brunnenberg and Brunnenbergalm, straight through the scenic Windachtal Nature Forest Preserve with larch and stone pine trees older than 300 years. A perfect place to observe the forest's eco-system without influences by men. Explore steep Alpine pasturelands and authentic Ötztal mountain huts (called "Thaya" in dialect) deeply rooted in history. Returning from Zwieselstein through the wildly romantic ravine of Kühtrainschlucht you can fully indulge in Sölden's picture-book silent part: peaceful, quiet, authentic.
