The government of Tyrol designates the name “Naturpark” (Nature Park) to areas with extraordinary natural beauty that are particularily suited for recreation and study. resently there are 5 Nature Parks in Tyrol.
As the „youngest“ of the Tyrolean Nature Parks
the Park is impressive due to its’ rich and diverse alpine ecosystems and culture.
