This panorama hike begins on the Tiefenbach glacier at an altitude of 2,800m. The breath-taking view of numerous noted 3,000m-high summits is a highlight of this tour. Along the entire hike we can admire the wonderful high-alpine fauna and flora. Plants and animals in this high mountain area had to develop unique survival strategies.
The sheep nomadism or “transhumance” is also topic during this hike. This nomadism between North and South Tyrol has been practised for thousands of years and is a particular characteristic of Vent pasture farming.
