Infopoint Gries

WILD WATER

At the parking lot when leaving Gries, the 6 x 4 m large “landscape furniture” conveys the theme of “wild water” in a substantially material way. Here in Gries, Fischbach and Winnebach rivers merge, the primal force of which shapes the landscape all the way down to Längenfeld.

The joining of the two stream courses is illustrated as a wooden model. Site-specific info about the role of the protective forest and the history of Gries mountain village add to the main theme.
