We take the bus to Fiegl ́s Gasthaus. From there we hike through the Windachtal forest reserve with its unique up to 300-year old larch and stone pine trees.

Up there, the natural development of the forest ecosystem without the inference of humans is observed. Along the steep mountain meadows and past original Ötztal huts (so-called Thayen), the biodiversity of beautiful alpine flowers is omnipresent.

Thanks to various nature conservation initiatives and reintroduction projects, the majestic bearded vultures are once agyin circling over the quiet Windachtal.

The panoramic view of the glaciers in the Ötztal and Stubai Alps is included. Enjoy the quiet side of Sölden – peaceful, close to nature.
