L8 Treasures Family HikeL

On this easy hike we will let a local geologist tell us about the spectacular formation history of the Alps and the local geological peculiarities. We hike far back into the Gaisbergtal to the glacier tongue. There we’ll search for the legendary Ötztal garnet gemstones and other interesting minerals that the glacier released only a few years ago. Exciting facts from 500 million years ago to today and real “treasures” that you can touch are waiting for us!
