    L8 Treasures Family HikeL

In the Ötztaler Windach valley [Windachtal], surrounded by waterfalls, impressive rock faces and wide alpine pastures, the bearded vulture can be observed in the wild – the species has only returned to the valley in recent years. Equipped with binoculars and a spotting scope, we will get a very close view of the magnificent bird of prey. In addition to interesting information about the biology of the bearded vulture and its successful reintroduction in the Alpine region, you’ll learn numerous things about how to spot and identify a bearded vulture yourself on hikes in the future.
