Our rivers and streams are often referred to as important “lifelines”.

Why?

And more importantly, for whom?

During our hike along the Vent river [Venter Ache] we literally get to the bottom of this question. We investigate the creatures in the cold water and experience this special habitat firsthand.

We will also discuss what we humans use this water for.
